Meet the founder

Erik Fetzer

Founder, MyShopView

Erik Fetzer is the founder of MyShopView, a manufacturing ERP platform built to bring real-time visibility and control to the shop floor. Unlike software designed from the outside in, MyShopView grew directly out of Erik's more than 30 years of hands-on manufacturing experience at Fetzer Architectural Woodwork, a custom architectural woodwork and store fixture manufacturer.

Over three decades in a demanding, high-mix production environment, Erik saw firsthand where conventional ERP systems fell short—and what a shop actually needs to track jobs, route work through the plant, manage labor and materials, and keep complex projects on schedule and on budget. He built MyShopView to close that gap: an ERP designed by a manufacturer, for manufacturers, rooted in the daily realities of running a working shop rather than theory.

Today, Erik channels that experience into helping other manufacturers gain the same clarity and operational discipline that comes from knowing exactly what's happening on the floor.
